It’s a welcome moment of recognition to see two of our projects shortlisted in this year’s SBID Awards — each very different, yet both rooted in the same discipline: listening deeply, defining the brief precisely, and letting that clarity shape every design move.
We don’t design for awards — we design to solve well-framed problems with care, integrity and imagination. So when the work is noticed in this way, it genuinely matters.

Now in its 15th year, the SBID Awards celebrate design excellence across interior, product, and fit-out categories. Finalists are assessed by a panel of industry leaders for functionality, innovation, creativity, and technical execution — with public voting contributing 10% to the final results. An SBID Award is considered one of the most coveted accolades for design excellence. Success in this GOLD-rated Awards programme demonstrates the highest level of design skill and professional mastery across the interior design profession.
The two projects shortlisted:
Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort is a calm, coastal reinvention of a live hotel environment — redesigning 301 guestrooms across a multi-phase programme without closing the doors once, all while introducing new room types that enhance guest experience and commercial performance
Vanillabazaar HQ is a bespoke workplace fit-out that brings together the company’s operations, logistics, and client-facing functions under one roof. Designed to express the sensory richness and clarity of the Vanillabazaar brand, the space supports business growth while offering a calm, material-led environment tailored to the needs of a focused, family-run enterprise.
